Patient Organizations

The association's mission is to raise awareness, support education, and expand professional knowledge in the field of medicine and public health, focusing on liver diseases. Particularly regarding the rights and obligations of patients with liver diseases, as well as supporting and organizing other activities for association members and other interested parties in accordance with the association's mission and goals.

We are an independent, voluntary, non-political, and open organization. We bring together patients with liver diseases and people who identify with our mission and goals.

The mission of the HEP HELP CLUB is to support education and expand professional knowledge in the field of medicine and public health, focusing on liver diseases, particularly regarding the rights and obligations of patients with liver diseases, as well as supporting and organizing other activities for association members and other interested parties in accordance with the association's mission and goals.

ELPA's aim is to promote the interests of people with liver disease and in particular: to highlight the size of the problem; to promote awareness and prevention; to address the low profile of liver disease as compared to other areas of medicine such as heart disease; to share experience of successful initiatives; to work with professional bodies such as EASL and with the EU to ensure that treatment and care are harmonised across Europe to the highest standards.
